New community learning space coming soon!

Sometimes we need a supportive and inspiring space to integrate what we learn about communication, working with conflict and collaboration … a space to reflect, to make concepts real, to get on-the-ground feedback, to adapt ideas to our own cultures and contexts.

We’re in the process of creating a new learning space to do just that … join us in 2027!

Customized Training

Nonprofits, boards, community groups, academic institutions and small businesses have specific needs, but all face issues with building common cultures and language, exploring communication preferences and needs, learning to deal well with conflict and difference, and making agreements about how we can best work or live together.

We can design anything from a simple 2-hour workshop to a multi-phased training program to help your organization or group be better together.

Good Collaborations’ Approach to Training:

  • Experiential learning, inviting people to reflect on things they hear or see, and supporting them to integrate what is useful based on their own current needs, previous background and lived worlds … we don’t believe in blank slates!

  • Inclusive, supportive, strength-focused learning environments, with hands-on opportunities for practice and sharing community knowledge.

  • Experienced, in-the-field training team committed to respectfully supporting adult learning in participatory ways.

Help us understand your goals (what do you want to see change), your context (what’s leading you to think that this kind of activity now makes sense, who do you think should be involved), and what resources you hope we’ll bring to this together (how much time or budget is available, what kind of commitment are you looking for from us).
